Join me for a retreat in the beautiful space of Aviva Yoga Studio in Hamilton. Fall is a time to consider and invite balance into your life.
This half-day retreat is for women that are looking to re-connect to themselves and learn skills and practices that help reduce stress, elevate mood and create greater feelings of inner peace, self-love and wholeness within.
Throughout this retreat we’ll be discussing and practicing yoga, meditation, journaling & reflection, yoga nidra + teachings on inner awareness and how to connect inwards.
After this retreat you’ll return home with a tool belt of skills that will help you to be aware of when you are connected to your true nature and how to find greater inner peace, presence and re-align to your true self at any time.

Meet Your Retreat Leader: Lisa Marie
Certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher
As a Yoga & meditation teacher my passion is helping women to align to their true nature and authentic selves and discover greater peace and happiness within. I am dedicated to helping women silence the busy mind and discover their true potential stepping into a place of empowerment and self Love.
For years I was searching for something to give me happiness and freedom. I suffered from anxiety and depression and was always looking on the outside. Searching for more love, more things, and busyness to keep my mind going. I felt disconnected and was never comfortable in my body.
One day I went to a yoga class and I felt joy and peace within me. I felt an urge to explore this stillness inside me. As I became more aware through my life I realized that I was sleepwalking most of my life, doing the things I thought would make me happy, unaware that happiness is already inside me.
Yoga changed my life and I will be a forever student and teacher.
My Womens retreats are for women who want to explore the inner self, inner critic find more inner peace. They offer a transformative experience with other like minded women for those seeking healing and self discovery. I am passionate about teaching women how to find their true nature and practices to guide them to a more happy, abundant and authentic life.

Over the years, I have attended a few retreats organized and run by Lisa. First of all, she is my favourite yogi. Her authentic energy and faith in all things good is palpable. Lisa ran a retreat for me and 5 friends for a weekend in central Ontario where I live. She did 5 yoga classes, brought essential oils, cards, exercises and fun spiritual conversations. Lisa provided meals and snacks which were not only prepared and served, but delicious, healthy and satisfying. I also recommend her for a retreat anytime. Doing a yoga retreat with Lisa was the most invigorating and restorative experience I've ever had!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up ... all I knew was that I was a knotted up ball of stress and needed to unwind. The entire experience was geared to exactly that. Lisa's calm and relaxed nature set the tone from the very beginning. She prepared healthy food for us to share, recommended different readings for us to explore, and encouraged us to clear our minds and create a mantra to help keep us centred.
Waking up at sunrise to do yoga was incredible! It started the day off with a calmness that stretched out into the entire day. We hiked, we chatted, ate whole, healthy food and shared in a collective energy that was healing and supportive. I came back feeling more refreshed, energized and centred than I could have ever expected.
I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking to become more grounded and refreshed.

Our weekend retreat with Lisa was a true blessing. Inspiring teachings, gentle yoga, breathwork, vegan meals and thoughtful activities. Lisa is peaceful, easy going, welcoming and supportive. As a 50+ woman who is no Yogi, I always feel encouraged, supported, accepted and nurtured by Lisa's energy, care and attention.
